OK Plant is a company that processes more than 160,000 plants per week. To achieve this, they make extensive use of automation, which means that the doors and door drives are also an important part. All MeerDeur products have been used within this project. We have realized the entire project from door design to installation. We also take care of the annual preventive maintenance of the doors and hatches.

Lifting panels

When the plants have to be moved from compartment A to compartment B, this can be done by the lifting hatch systems with Gatemaster® Dockdoor systems. These are executed from small size to very large size. Cut-outs have also been made at the location where internal transport creates challenging situations.

Sliding wall

A large sliding wall has also been installed to separate two departments. In order not to always have to move the large sliding wall parts, a sliding door has been placed in the sliding wall for easy passage of people.

Speeddoor®

The Speeddoor® has been used in the compartments between the departments, creating a large daylight size of 3.5 meters by 6 metres. This Speeddoor® is also controlled by automatic internal transport or by a push button.

MeerDeur® revolving door

In a part of the barn where higher insulation was required, an insulated architectural door has been installed in which the panel in the door has a different color than the door leaf and door frame. A MeerDeur® revolving door with a knob cylinder has been installed at the back of the greenhouse and serves as a service and escape hatch.

Gatemaster® Excel

The aluminum automatic Gatemaster® Excel door has been used for the entrance to the office area to welcome customers to the shop and office. Sister company Meer Gevelsystemen has fitted the window frames and manually operated and insulating architectural revolving doors of the office and the later new building in black profiles and luxurious dark-looking mirror glass.
